I had signed up for the 12 week coaching, thinking that I wouldn't get picked. When she did, my first reaction was "oh crap, nothing will stay the same"

I am so happy that nothing stayed the same!

My entire life I could eat anything I wanted - I stayed skinny. People always feel the need to tell me that I am thin and should eat more. Since I didn't gain any weight I didn't see a reason to eat healthy or exercise.

So I set myself exactly those two goals: get to know what food my body wants and to get my muscles to work.

I didn't know that mindset coaching was part of the program. I am so glad it was. I had actually never asked myself why I like to eat so much. Now I know what triggers me wanting to eat: stress and boredom.

Many things have changed during those 12 weeks with Rachel. Things that I didn't expect to ever change. I am a night owl that likes to sleep till noon on weekends. I could sleep for 12 hours without any problem. Boy, this has changed. Now, I actually enjoy going to bed early and get some proper sleep. I can't sleep that long anymore. My body seems rested with less. There is some truth to self sabotage. For some reason I didn't want myself to be properly rested. It's easier to complain the next morning and be unhappy about it than actually doing something about it and be happy.

My journey is not a weight loss one, but a "get to know your body and treat it right"

My cooking skills were limited to heating up frozen pizza and cooking a few dishes. I couldn't be bothered with spending time in the kitchen. Rachel showed me that cooking didn't have to be time consuming. I discovered many yummy dishes that I would have never cooked otherwise. So many ingredients I never bought before. Ingredients I have never combined before.

Now I actually enjoy making my own food.

I have accepted zucchini in my life! I used to hate zucchini!

Needless to say that a lot of things changed that I didn't expect to change.

So in the end, I have become someone who takes care of her body. I became a person who appreciates getting up early on the weekends. My weight hasn't changed significantly. However I have lost a few centimeters here and there and became stronger. My before and after pictures are not shocking. But on the inside I feel transformed.

If you're hesitating whether to join the program or not, go for it. It is an investment for yourself, for your entire life.
