Recipe: Breakfast Bites

Makes 5 bites
(per bite) Carbs 28.6g / Fat 0.6g / Protein 2g / Calories 124


  • 12 pitted dates (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup apple sauce (or 1/2 cup mashed banana)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup shredded oats
  • Handful of frozen berries (I recommend raspberries)


  1. Preheat oven to 180C/350F
  2. Line a baking tray with baking paper
  3. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir well
  4. Scoop out the mix and roll it into a ball with your fingers
  5. Press it onto the baking tray
  6. Bake for 10-15mins
  7. Remove and cool on a rack
