I've always been sitting in a weird place between being active but never feeling 'fit'. Before I started working with Rachel I was working out 5x/week and eating 1200 cal a day. I though if I ate in a deficit and worked myself to exhaustion I would feel strong and look toned. But nothing ever worked. I thought my body was stuck and I just had to deal with it.

Then, I donated a kidney in June of 2018. Through that process I found out I had Hashimoto's. When I recovered from surgery I took the plunge and started working with Rachel. The first thing she did was increase my calories from 1200 to 1600 per day. It seemed so wrong at first, and it was genuinely difficult getting myself to eat so much at first- I was so used to denying myself! But the pictures speak for themselves. I became less bloated and my body used the energy I was getting from food to fuel my workouts. I started building muscle and losing inches in my waist and hips- places I hadn't seen any change with years of exercise.

Most importantly, I learned what foods served me and my body best. Everything just fell into place- I started feeling energetic, content with my body and excited about what it could do again. Rachel doesn't just implement changes into your life- she explains the who what where when and most importantly WHY. You're truly gaining knowledge about how optimise your body and mind.
