Going into this program I had a few goals in mind. I wanted to get back to some of my old fitness levels, I was a very active tennis player, however after falling ill, being diagnosed with an array of conditions including a severe intolerance to gluten and dairy I was thrown into a world of food that I didn’t really understand, especially what was good and what was not.
My life surrounding food was one of anxiety, I couldn’t trust what I’d ordered out, I’d have to read packages all the time and not really understand what I was looking for. This intolerance was incredibly painful, I couldn’t move my legs and hospital was a second home for a while. My goals were to be more active, gain a better understanding of nutrition and also having an external motivator is a pretty compelling reason to get up early and exercise.
Working with Rachel was so much easier and much more motivating than I originally thought. She was great to talk to and discuss concerns with and she was always giving me such incredible advice that I continue to use. This program has completely changed my life. I look more like myself than I have in years, I have a better understanding of nutrition and I’ve formed some great habits regarding exercising.
However, the most incredible result for me (that I wasn’t expecting at all) was I can now eat dairy and gluten. With no issues and no pain. My doctors and every other dietitian I’ve had has been able to come close to this success. When I first discovered this, I was so overjoyed I can’t adequately put into words how much this has changed how and what I do everyday.
I cannot thank Rachel enough for all the hard work that she puts into her programs, because the amount of work and detail involved in this program is exceptional. She has given me skills that I will continue to use for the rest of my life. Rachel went above and beyond what I expected when I applied for this and I can’t thank her enough for what she did for me. Thanks again and again Rachel 😊
