Healthy Savoury Snacks You’ll Love

While sweet treats are great, sometimes you’re just craving something savoury to snack on. Many savoury snacks out there are packed full of sodium, carbs, oils and additives, so what if you’re looking for a healthy alternative?

Not to worry - I have you covered with my favourite healthy savoury snack recipes.

Zucchini Crisps With Vegan Tzatziki

If you love savoury snacks, chips are probably a favourite! But the sodium, calories and additives can add up quickly. That’s why I created this delicious wholefood chip recipe.

Whether you’re craving some crunch at home or are looking for a healthy chip dish to share with friends, these Zucchini Crips are your new best friend.

Salmon + Dill Bites

If you’re looking for a bite-sized snack that requires almost zero prep time, this is a recipe that you’ll be making time and time again!

My Salmon + Dill Bites are low in carbs, which makes them ideal if you’re on a low-carb or ketogenic diet.

And thanks to the salmon, each bite is packed full of good fats and omega-3s.

High-Protein Bean Dip

Don’t rely on supermarket options - making your own high-protein dip takes just 5 minutes!

This High-Protein Bean Dip packs in a whopping 21g of protein per serve. Plus it’s a great source of fibre, which supports your gut health and keep you feeling satiated through to your next meal.

You can serve it with veggie sticks of your choice or even homemade chips/wedges.

Kale Chips

There’s nothing quite like the crunch of a kale chip!

Kale chips are a macro-friendly alternative to potato chips, and they are super easy to make.

Plus you’re adding in an extra serving of leafy greens and all the vitamins and minerals that kale has to offer.

Feeling a little bit fancy? I love combining these with my healthy homemade salsa.

Zucchini Tuna Fritters

These came into being when I was searching for a high-protein afternoon snack with plenty of veggies to keep me full until dinner.

They contain 26g of protein per serve, and are great served with low-fat sour cream, avocado and a side salad (I use spinach & cherry tomatoes)

Psst - you can also try the chicken version of these fritters here.

Superfood Snack Salad

Who says that snacks can’t be full of fresh veggies? If you struggle to get your vegetables in at meal times or are looking to boost your intake, this is a must-try salad.

Want a substantial snack? Make sure you include the brown rice for a carbohydrate and fibre boost.

Prefer something lower in calories and carbs? Remove the rice or substitute with cauliflower rice.
